HISTORY, EDUCATION, DRAMA
ASP Arts Collective is a theatrical response to revisionism
in American discourse about enslavement and its aftermath.
  • Centers writers from the African Diaspora who write about the eras.

  • Makes vital connections between our past and today.

  • Creates conversation in the community through original work.

  • Provides educational workshops for students and adults.

  • Recognizes enslavement as one arm of the larger colonial project which includes invasion, occupation & displacement of indigenous peoples around the world.
